We’re delighted to announce that Futurist Games has reopened after a 3-month lockdown. An early opening made possible by the layout of the site, which allows safety distances to be respected.
What’s new/changed?
At Futurist Games, we’ll be giving you a warm welcome with new cooperative or confrontational experiences. Always in total immersion!
As well as hydro-alcoholic solutions, we will have a stock of masks and gloves available if you have forgotten yours. The Futurist Games infrastructure is designed to accommodate 1 participant per 10m2 play area. A traffic plan has been put in place to avoid contact or crowd effects.
Unfortunately, some experiences requiring close contact will not be available at the moment. They will make a comeback as soon as the health restrictions are lifted. In this experiment, several participants were brought together in the same room, without dividers. It was therefore possible to push or brush against each other, but thanks to the separate zones, you’ll be able to play in complete safety. It was not uncommon during a game for players with VR headsets screwed on to their heads to brush against or jostle each other. This is not a problem with individual boxes where VR is played with wires.
What about security measures for the reopening of Futurist Games?
Hygiene is essential in these complicated times, so our team will take particular care to clean helmets and equipment. Once more than usual. The use of hydro-alcoholic gel will of course be compulsory.
We will, of course, continue to support you throughout your session. All the while avoiding contact to protect each other.
We would like to thank the digital editions of La Capitale for their support in reopening Futurist Games during this difficult period.
